The Clayful Potters Studio offers a unique, beginner-friendly experience perfect for those who want to dip their hands into the world of pottery without a long-term commitment. Our studio specializes in two-session handbuilding pottery classes designed for casual potters, where you can create a functional or decorative piece from start to finish in just two visits. You will make and glaze your own piece! As you gain experience, we offer pottery workshops using more advanced skills. Open up a new world of creativity for yourself!

At The Clayful Potters Studio, we believe everyone has the potential to create something beautiful. Come play with clay and discover the joy of making pottery in a fun, supportive environment.

​Our pottery studio is located just outside of Pakenham, Ontario in a beautiful barn on the Mississippi River. It's a warm, inviting space, designed to inspire creativity and relaxation. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, making it the perfect place for anyone, regardless of their artistic background, to feel comfortable and at ease.

We service Ottawa and the surrounding area including Kanata, Stittsville, Pakenham, Arnprior, Kinburn, Almonte, Carleton Place, Renfrew and Pembroke.
Each pottery class focuses on a single project, such as a personalized mug, a decorative butter dish, a pretty tea pot or a funky chicken! We also have holiday-specific pottery workshops to make decorations such as ghosts, pumpkins, Santas, Christmas trees and heart trinket boxes. Our list of projects is long, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
These two-session pottery classes are perfect for individuals, friends, or groups looking for a fun and creative outing. There is no long term commitment so they are perfect for those with busy schedules or just looking to try something new. You'll create a one-of-a-kind item that you can use or gift to someone special. Since each project is only two sessions long, you can come again and again whenever you see a pottery workshop that interests you.​​
We offer handbuilding classes only. Handbuilding pottery is often considered easier than wheel-thrown pottery, and often times offers more options for creativity. It allows us to design our classes for casual potters where anyone can make a piece they are proud of!
